Madame Tussauds London is ‘striking’ it lucky! Their magery released confirms the imminent arrival of international sports-star, Kylian Mbappé. After legendary FIFA World Cup Final performances for France, and a recent transfer to Real Madrid in July 2024, the global sensation will arrive in figure-form in the UK– the home of football – at our renowned attraction in Baker Street, London, in time for the Easter holidays. The footballing icon himself worked collaboratively with our talented studio team throughout the months-long process, sitting for head-to-toe measurements to ensure an exact likeness for his new London figure. Kylian Mbappé first burst onto the scene for AS Monaco aged 16 and is now known worldwide for his lightning-quick speed, clinical finishing, and famous celebration. The star has scored countless record-breaking moments in his football career from becoming the second teenager ever to score in a World Cup Final, to scoring a hattrick in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final, winning the Golden Boot in the process; and becoming Paris Saint Germain’s all-time top goal-scorer. Beyond his footballing accolades, Mbappé is recognised for his charity work notably in support of young people, through his association Inspired by KM. The sporting hero is one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world and remains a global powerhouse across sport and beyond. This figure launch is a first for our attraction, and Mbappé’s second figure across the global Madame Tussauds estate, with his first figure launching in Madame Tussauds Berlin in May 2024.
