California's Pacific Coast offers one of the most beautiful road trip opportunities in the country! From stunning beaches to epic overlooks! Today I began my adventures by showing you the charming coastal town of Monterrey - know for its historic building, scenic beauty and its famous pier! We'll hop on the 17-mile road near the town of Carmel-By-The-Sea and visit some of its iconic beaches, California Cypresses and enjoy the sound of the ocean before continuing further north towards the town of Capitola. Located near Santa Cruz, CA, Capitola is its smaller neighbor. It is home to a colorful village at the beach which is one of its main attractions and seriously postcard worthy!
