Two of the segments include audio for front and interior recording. This should provide information to help make an informed decision when considering purchase of this item. Shopping experience from this buyer: I am always skeptical when buying anything for the first time. So I searched many of the dash cams offered on Amazon. Eventually I landed on this dash cam. It seemed to fit my needs and was within my price range. I realy on customer reviews about 5% when considering a purchase. Mostly because I have purchased items that had low review ratings only to find there were no issues with the item. With that said, I have to say, I am very impressedwith this little dash cam. The video quality, although not the best in the world, is pretty goo The pictures are clear in both day and night time settings (night time is a little grainy but this is not some top dollar item with military grade night vision). The audio is pretty decent! I play music and have captured some of it in the audio and it sounds pretty good. I don't normally drive with the audio activiated but when I have, it is clear and acceptable. The set up on this is pretty straight forward and navigating the menu is as easy as it gets. Just make sure to go through and set everything up before using for the first time so your time stamp correctly dispays the information yo want to see when downloading the video clips (Date, MPH or KM/h) time, etc.) Installation is quick and easy. If you are not sure what to do, there are plenty of videos on youtube that can guide you through the process. The hardest part is rear camera installation. This is where you have to align your camera where you want it to mount, drill the hole, run the wire. One Recommendation I have when running out your rear camera cable is to start from the front and work your way to the back so if you have any excess cable you can hide it behind the paneling in the trunk. I believe outside of drilling the cable hole in the trunk, the whole insallation process took a little over an hour. It would probably take less but I like to take my time and do things right. The camera is really nice looking. It's small, sleak and doesn't take up mnuch window space. The camera monitor can show all three views at the same time (The forward veiw is primary with the interior and rear cameras showing in smaller picture views on the right side of the monitor). The camera views can also be switched to where you can view any one camera view at a time by cylcing the down arrow button. The other neat little feature is that the cabin camera is removeable. If you don't care to record the cabin activity you can just remove the camera. There is also an app for both android and apple phones so you can download videos straigt from the camera via wifi to your phone for better viewing (especially in the evento of an accident). The loop recording offers 3 options, 1 minute/3 minute/5 minute loops. This means that every one three or five minutes a video file is saved and another started. This process continues until the card is full. Once full, the card will begin overwritting older files in order to continue refcording.
