Drawing Amy-Rose the Hedgehog | Time Lapse | Sonic Movie 3 | Sonic Characters Realism

Time-Lapse video process of Amy-Rose the Hedgehog from the Sonic Movie. This is a really great video if you're looking for ideas of how to render a realistic style Amy-Rose or if you just enjoy watching people draw her in their style. I'm usually a pet portrait artist, so I used the skills and techniques I've learnt from rendering realistic animals (in soft pastels) to create this 5 piece of Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the echidna, Amy-Rose, Tails the fox and Shadow the Hedgehog. I plan on doing a little tutorial on this so let me know if you have any questions in the comments and I can answer them in the tutorial for you! Materials used: Clairefontaine pastelmat paper Arrtx Soft pastel sticks Pastel pencils (Caran d'ache, Stabilo carbothellos, cretacolour and faber Castel) If you're just getting into pastels and want to give this a go you could do it with just the cretacolour set of pencils and Arrtx sticks, finding a vibrant pink in pastels was the most challenging bit but the sticks and Cretacolour pinks saved me there. Currently have no affiliations with anyone, just some tips! The pastel mat is also cheaper if you buy it in a pad rather than single pieces.
