Dead to Rights is a third-person action shooter video game developed by Namco, and published by Namco, Hip Games and Electronic Arts, originally released in August 2002. Players take on the role of Jack Slate, a tough cop with a tragic past. The game is set in Grant City, a corrupt metropolis ruled by organized crime. The plot revolves around Jack's quest to clear his name after being framed for a murder he didn't commit, while also taking down the criminal organization responsible for his father's death. Along the way, Jack must battle through waves of enemies, solve puzzles, and interrogate suspects to gather clues.
