How the FBI Caught the Unabomber

He lives as a recluse, spreading terror for 18 years by mailing parcel bombs. Two men were killed and more than a dozen seriously injured. No one, however, knew the identity of the terrorist. Then, one day, Ted Kaczynski's brother telephones the FBI. The Unabomber's manifesto, written by Kaczynski and published in several newspapers, sparks feverish activity in the FBI offices: handwriting analysis, comparisons, analysis of DNA taken from a postage stamp and, finally, the arrest of Ted Kaczynski in his cabin in the middle of the forest. The agents discovered a wealth of clues, including the original manifesto. Kaczynski is currently serving 4 life sentences plus 30 years, without the possibility of parole.
