The protocol responsible for allowing MPLS nodes to learn about each others' labels is the Label Distribution Protocol or LDP. In this video, I'll be showing you how LDP works, how it advertises labels between nodes. We'll also take a look at the internal constructs in the control and forwarding planes within each MPLS router that make the direction of data between nodes possible.
