Developed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana and implemented by NHAI using the Hybrid Annuity Model, this corridor aims to boost freight efficiency, improve port connectivity, and accelerate economic growth in the region. The project, costing around ₹6,275 crore, is expected to be completed by 2029 with partial sections operational by 2025. It passes through key economic districts, enhancing trade and transport infrastructure in South India.
