A Trilogy for an architectural movement, a research on collective consciousness, on common desire, on reality construction. Gabriel- A sole messenger describes the heavenly Jerusalem. His description is influenced by the city's fractured history, by the stories of the many conquerers of Jerusalem, the battles it has known time and again in the past and in the present. This is a sculpture in motion of the different people that inhabit this imaginary city. A story of their lives and their history. Fedora- is an imaginary city described by Marco Polo to Genghis Khan in Italo Calvino's "The Invisible Cities". The piece draws from this architectural description the inspiration to sculpt the dancers in space in the same way that the people of Fedora would sculpt their city looking in the crystal balls of the museum at the city's centre. m.o.n- is a search for a language of movement that can communicate through symbols and images common to different cultures throughout human history. Perfect geometric figures, such as the Flower of Life, the Seed of Life and the Tree of Life, consistently appear in diverse parts of the world, scattered across continents, and are sanctified by many cultures and religions. "C.a.t.a.m.o.n" is a dance written with these icons. It is a prayer, an attempt to shape the shared architectural space of reality for the common good.
