Note: the original one received a copyright claim from WBTV. I'll post that video on twitter some other time, but for now here's the edited version. Ed Barge (1910-1991) was an American animator who worked for William Hanna/Joseph Barbera at MGM on the Tom & Jerry and Barney Bear cartoons. He stayed alongside with Hanna and Barbera until the MGM cartoon studio closed down in 1957. Later on, Ed would join again with Hanna/Barbera during the 60's and even work for Ralph Bakshi on the film Coonskin. Barge's animation is very solid by drawing the characters rounder and cuter, and always has a penchant of dry-brush. Special Thanks to Eric Goldberg, Mark Kausler and Devon Baxter for some of the identifications of Ed Barge. Source: https://cartoonrevue.wordpress.com/20...
