Researchers at @CityUHongKong developed a cooling “skin” that protects fast‑charging batteries from dangerous heat buildup. The composite material releases or absorbs water to regulate a battery’s temperature without requiring any external energy. It’s also fire‑resistant, providing an added layer of safety.
