She learned to swim at 59, and just two years later became an Ironman. Since then, she’s completed 11 Kona Ironmans—each one a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, followed by a full 26.2 mile marathon. Triathlon isn’t a hobby for Natalie—it’s her life. She races 2–3 times a year and trains nearly year-round, with training days that can last 5–6 hours at a time or more. In this episode, we follow Natalie through her training, recovery, and mindset—and explore what it really takes to stay this strong, disciplined, and alive at 80.
