"A DEAD Man Walking!" | YouGov Poll Shows Most Brits Think Keir Starmer Won't Last This Year As PM

A YouGov poll published on 9 February 2026 suggests the public is largely sceptical that Sir Keir Starmer will still be prime minister by the end of the year. Asked how likely it is that Starmer will remain in office through to the end of 2026, 63% of respondents said this was unlikely, including 36% who said it was “very unlikely” and 27% “fairly unlikely”. By contrast, just 22% believed he would still be prime minister, with 5% saying this was “very likely” and 17% “fairly likely”. A further 15% said they did not know. The survey was conducted among 7,019 adults in Great Britain and forms part of YouGov’s daily tracking of public opinion on UK politics.
