My Enhanced Nintendo MIDI collection consists of MIDI files I sequenced and routed through my Yamaha Motif ES8 keyboard, utilising its rather nice-sounding General MIDI samples. The staff view was played with Cakewalk Express and the presentation was recorded with CamStudio. All instruments use the standard MIDI patches unless otherwise noted. To follow the notes in the sequence and to ensure the best sound quality, viewing full screen in 720p (HD) is strongly advised. This medley featuring overworld music around Timber's Island was originally five separate Diddy Kong Racing MIDIs in 1998. It seemed appropriate to combine them, since they all use the same base. The singing children could not be mimicked properly (especially with general MIDI samples), so it was replaced with a vox. Does anyone else wish there were a variation of this song associated with Future Funland?
