I was looking through some old videos and found one of the highlights of the past decade - I was honoured to be a part of introducing "What a Beautiful Name" to the church, months before it was recorded, and years before it won a GRAMMY. This was the first time it was ever sung live by Ben Fielding. Brooke had led it the week prior. No tracks, just a rough arrangement and the live FOH mix, but the anointing on the song is just as evident. I really love being a part of bringing new songs as we never fully know what we are going to do, or how the church will respond, there's an increased reliance on the Holy Spirit to bring ideas rather than playing from my own strength and abilities. There's a lot of flow and freedom to try things in this video. Most of what I played never made it to an album version but it helped set a small part of the foundation :) God is so good and He truly has THE Name above ALL Names!
