Why should you watch this video when it’s so easy to click the plotter and find out the height of tide? There’s plenty of propaganda out there to convince us that this is all we need. Sadly, when the chips are down and we want an accurate prediction, it isn’t. Ask four plotters and you’ll probably get four answers, so when it really matters I turn to the old system of graphs and top-quality predictions. Students of navigation still have to make these calculations. They aren’t difficult and in this and my next video I explain how it all works.
