On June 3, 2020, I chased Carolina Coastal Railway's Wilson to Chocowinity turn, No. 120, westbound from Chocowinity to Wilson, NC via Greenville. CLNA was using No. 4012 and 4621 for power. When 120 got to Greenville, things got busy. CSX F715 crossed the diamond heading south for Ayden, then CLNA 120 crossed heading west, then two pieces CSX MOW equipment cross the diamond headinh southbound, all within 10 minutes. The CLNA line west of Greenville to Wilson is mostly jointed rail, making a classic and unique sound these days, espacially at a good rate of speed. Something else to take note of is the rerouting of cars that normally take CLNA 119 to Pinetown. The Runyan Creek trestle in Washington has been out of service due to a collapse earlier this year, and they're still trying to get it fixed. With that problem, CLNA is rerouteing cars (like the Southern Railway limestone hopper in this video) and other 119 cars on 120 to Wilson, then on CSX up to Rocky Mount and Plymouth. I have more info on this routing in my previous CLNA videos. Enjoy the video!
