Random Ontario Road Trip: Circling Downtown Toronto (Via 410/401/427/QEW/404)

Road trip starting on the 410 in Brampton, Ontario and looping around Toronto via Highways 401, 427, QEW (Gardiner Expressway) and 404 (Don Valley Parkway). Filmed on May 7, 2020. We were in the city for other reasons and didn't irresponsibly break any lockdown guidelines! We just turned the camera on and may have gone a few KM out of the way. There may never be another chance to film this route without any stoppages. Not once did we fall below the speed limit - something that would have seemed impossible just two months ago. For those who haven't been to Toronto in some time, you'll be surprised by the fact you can now barely see the Skydome (Rogers Centre). Once very prominent on the skyline, now the baseball stadium is mostly blocked by high-rise condominiums. You'll also note that we pass by Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) twice. You may not notice because there are no airplanes landing, taking off or moving around on the tarmac. It's certainly an eerie sight these days. #toronto #ontario #roadtrip
