I dropped the needle on a second hand copy of Tyler, The Creator's 'IGOR' and immediately thought I’d been scammed. Between the aggressive static and pops, I was convinced this record was a dud. This is my first-time listen to one of the most polarizing vinyl pressings of the last decade. Is the "broken" sound a pressing disaster, or is it exactly what Tyler intended? In this video, we put the 40-point Groove Score system to its toughest test yet. Can an album that intentionally sounds "lo-fi" and "distorted" still rank high on the leaderboard?
