“Blessed When People Revile You” - "The Other Six" Daily Devotion

Every day we have a time in God's Word. On Sundays, that's Worship, the Other Six days we have a devotion, where spend some time with God, learn from His Word, and focus on Jesus. In this video, we look at Matthew 5:11-12​ where Jesus tells us... “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Have you ever been mocked or attacked for doing the right thing? The world hated Jesus and so it will hate you. That's what we're told. So, we shouldn't be surprised when our faith and living according to God's commands lead to people attacking us, ridiculing us, or making up lies about us. Yet, this isn't the final word. Jesus has the final word! So, we can rejoice for we know the suffering in this life cannot compare to the glory that is to come.
