In today's video, Dr. Jones will walk you through what to expect in an eye exam at Advanced Family Eyecare in Spanish Fork, UT. ⬇️ Download our paperwork here: https://bit.ly/afe-paperwork What should you expect in an eye exam? To get started, let's talk about what you should bring to an eye exam. #1- Your Paperwork - here's the link: https://bit.ly/afe-paperwork #2: All the Glasses you have #3: Special Visual Needs Once you check-in, we'll do preliminary testing of your eyes. This helps with the general health & functioning of your eyes. We do a visual field test, making sure your peripheral vision is all in tact. If there are brain problems, we can often see some of those with this visual field test. We also do an Optos Image - a complete picture of the back of the eye without having to dilate the eye. This gives us a better look at the back of the eye. Depending on eye health and history, we may do other eye tests as well. Usually we'll spend about 10 minutes in the pre-test room. Following preliminary testing, we'll visit the exam room. Our goal is to help you see as well as we can. We use different eye exam tools. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.
