Although it is a great camera I did end up selling the camera. At the end of the video, I will share why. Key things fans rave about this camera are: image quality from the Full-Frame Sensor: Superb Lens Quality: The fixed Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm f/2 lens is renowned for its sharpness of the lens and beautiful bokeh The Small Size of the camera Despite having a full-frame sensor and F2 lens it is the most compact full frame camera to date The Dedicated Dials: The RX1 features dedicated dials for aperture, exposure compensation, and focus, offering a more tactile and intuitive shooting experience The aperture on the lens, shutter, focus and exposure compensation all controlled by different dials Manual Focus with Peaking: The camera offers focus peaking, a feature that highlights in-focus areas, greatly assisting with precise manual focusing. Shooting the fixed 35mm lens: 35mm feels perfect in most situations You get used to the focal length after a while Forget about it In other situations you, can crop in post photos are still decent after the crop due to the 24 MP sensor My least favorite part of the RX1 is the inconsistency of the images. The white balance of these images were very inconsistent with the tint. Either very purple hues or green. I found myself really battling with getting it right in lightroom. So less copy and past of settings which just had me spend way more time editing. Even photos taken back to back the tint hues were vasly different. The biggest complaints of the RX1 I saw online is: poor autofocus performance, even more in low light and video mode, poor battery life, lack of in-body image stabilization. Coming from film photography background, I can't really complain about cameras tech features like "fast" autofocus, video modes and Image stabilization. I focus more on the shooting experience and results. These are the things I like to discuss about cameras. And the shooting experience with the camera was overall great. It was easy to carry with me and shoot with Ultimately I ended up selling the camera because of the more time
