Review - Lucy Locket's Dream Home (1992)

Another vintage toy video! This is Lucy Locket's Fabulous Dream Home, which was made by Bluebird toys in 1992. Lucy Locket was the "life size" friend of Polly Pocket but sadly wasn't as popular, with only three playsets being released. This was the first one. Then you had the Cottage and an animal/pet rescue center type playset. I have never seen the cottage with any accessories in it and I have never seen a photo of the animal one at all, at least not the toy, only stock photos. The Dream Home features lots of neat little details such as cupboards that really open, a washine machine that you can turn, cups, plates, two "mobile" phones (only richer/business people had these in the early 90s and they looked like bricks!), a pet cat and places little Polly Pocket could sit around the house (although the bedroom and bathroom ones are a little weird). Polly could also sit in the pocket on Lucy's shirt as well so she could be carried with Lucy around the house. I have a near complete set of this. I am only missing the dolls. An entire, complete, unbroken set of this particular toy is VERY rare, much less the boxed version. There are so many small parts that can be broken or go missing! I have only ever seen one set that includes the purple fence piece I show you in this video and that is the one I own! What I love about this playset was that it comes in the Polly Pocket style "compact" and how detailed it is as well. I have reviewed the other sets as well, here are the videos!
