很多徒步的记忆，都不是关于登顶。 原本计划一路向北， 却因为苏格兰连续的坏天气，临时改道、轻装出门， 把重装包锁进车站储物柜，只带着一个小包上山。 这条离格拉斯哥只有30分钟的“小高地”， 没有特别难的路线，却足够让人边走边聊很久—— 从语言差异聊到食物习惯， 从怎么看羊的年龄聊到什么水能不能直接喝。 后来我们走错了路，也没有真的登顶。 天气慢慢变差，能见度越来越低， 于是干脆决定往回走。 下山、回城、随便逛逛， 借着妹妹生日的名义再吃了顿“漂亮饭”， 晚上再坐夜巴离开苏格兰，去往下一站。 Before leaving Glasgow, we went for one last hike together. Not every hiking memory is about reaching the summit.Sometimes it’s just about walking side by side for a few hours. Because of heavy rain forecast across Scotland, we changed our plans at the last minute. We stored our heavy backpacks at Buchanan Bus Station and headed out with just small daypacks to a “mini Highlands” only 30 minutes from the city center. The trail wasn’t difficult — but the conversations went on and on.We talked about language differences, food habits, how to tell a lamb’s age, and what kind of water is safe to drink in different countries. At some point, we realized we had taken a wrong turn.The visibility dropped. The weather turned.And we decided not to push for the summit. We walked back down instead. After wandering around the city one last time — and celebrating my sister’s birthday with a “pretty dinner” — we caught a night bus out of Scotland. Some journeys aren’t about finishing something.They’re about knowing when to turn back — and still feeling complete.
