"Melangerie brings together new and existing works by Carol Carter, Lynn Foskett, Steph Gimson, Casey Haugh, John Hosford, Michael Knapp, and David Williams. Working in a variety of styles and media, This exhibition is meant to highlight some of the the diversity of works available to collectors. Carol Carter is an internationally-recognized watercolorist who this past summer led a watercolor workshop in Provence, British artist Steph Gimson is an abstract expressionist and former makeup artist to the stars. Her artwork can be found in private collections in the US, the UK, and Sweden. Exhibiting conceptual still life paintings from his Void Series, Washington DC-based artist Casey Haugh has a BFA in painting from Pratt Institute. Posessed of numerous creative incarnations and a degree in fine art from the Ringling College of Art and Design, John Hosford is also a musician and tatooist known as Johnny Ford and a villainous bit-part actor known by the screen name John Living. Former commercial artist Michael Knapp paints wry observations about the world around him in acrylic. He is currently artist in residence at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa. A former recipient of a prestigious Florida State Individual Artist Fellowship grant, pop artist David Williams' paintings can be found in the collections of five west central Florida museums." via Soft Water Gallery
