If one or both players kills the Pokemon, neither players keeps one! ⚪If there is a lake on the route, FISHING is allowed to be a separate route encounter from the ground/grass encounter. 🔴If the first Pokemon you encounter is one you have already caught before, you have to look for a different encounter. (We're not allowed to catch more than one of each type of Pokemon, even if our previous one died!) ⚪Encounters for Players on Each Route Are LINKED: If both players successfully catch their FIRST ENCOUNTER on the route, those two Pokemon may be kept, and are soul-linked. 🔴SHINY POKEMON CLAUSE: If either player finds a Shiny, they may attempt to catch it as a Bonus Encounter, and the other player can also get a bonus encounter to match it (bonus encounter for the other player is the first pokemon they find that they don't already have, as per the usual rules) ⚪SOUL LINK RULE: All Pokemon have a soul-linked partner on the other player's team. If one of them dies, THEY BOTH DIE... (ouch) 🔴SAME-TYPE RULE IS **NOT IN PLAY**. (This is usually a rule saying players cannot have the same Pokemon TYPE linked on their teams, but we're not gonna use that one unless we do another run with a randomizer lol) ⚪Items in battle are allowed -- the only banned item is Revives!
