The Klamath Tour Thru Tree is a giant redwood tree in Klamath, California that you can drive your car or motorcycle through. It's $5 to visit and drive through the tree. We visited on a weekday and there was no attendant, but a note to use honor system and put your $5 in the slot (which we did). After a quick climb up a steep road, we were greeted with a giant redwood with the center carved out. The carved tunnel is 7.33 feet wide and 9.5 feet tall -- which our Jeep Gladiator is about 6 and a 1/4 feet wide. The tree is such a fun tourist activity and definitely worth a stop. The tree is open year-round, and has RV parking, restrooms, and a gift shop at the base of the tree.
