Madlanga Commission | Prof Mabunda offers analysis as Lt Gen Sibiya is set to take the stand

Suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya is today expected to appear before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry. The Commission was postponed on Monday morning after Witness F was hospitalised. Witness F and other witnesses have linked Lieutenant-General Shadrack Sibiya to attempted murder accused, Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala. The Commission is probing allegations in the criminal justice system following a media briefing by KZN top cop, Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, in July last year, which placed the criminal justice system in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
