A DEFENSE OF MARIOLOGY: REFUTING PASTOR JOSHUA SCHOOPING

Join me as I journey through Scripture & the Church Fathers to refute Pastor Joshua Schooping. Pastor Schooping is a former Eastern Orthodox priest that has renounced Orthodoxy and has released a scathing attack on the Orthodox faith which would logically also include a harsh criticism against Catholics who share much with Orthodoxy in our beliefs about Saint Mary. One caricature that will not be made by me is the one that “oh, well he was never truly an Eastern Orthodox believer to begin with!” Pastor Schooping was an Eastern Orthodox priest. He was a published author and known in the community for his work on various topics. That being said, it will become evident in our journey through both of his videos criticizing Marian devotion that his grasp of Mariology is very poor. In what I believe to be a stern yet charitable refutation, I will cover each and every single argument and claim that Pastor Schooping makes in his two part series on his channel.
