One War (Short film)

One War is a Norwegian low budget movie we've been working on a while. The goal was to see how much we could achieve with a next to nothing budget (about 2800$) . We chose to make a war movie as it could really give us a challenge on the technical bits and test our limits regarding visual effects. The whole process was extremely educational and we gained much useful experience from the production. The setting is set to a fictional world war 3, and the story takes place in occupied Norway, where we follow a small team of soldiers and their plan to get the opposing forces out of Norway. All the editing, visual effects and sound design is done by me in my spare time, it has therefore taken as much as 2,5 years to complete this movie. It could definitely have been done in a much shorter time, but we didn't have any deadlines to deal with, and we therefore took our time :) Thanks to Knut Maurset for helping out with some 3d animating. Most of the movie is shot on a small Panasonic HDC-HS300 camcorder with a Letus mini DOF adapter, and a couple of scenes is shot on the Canon 7D.
