How to install your Farmtrack unit.

This video will show you just how easy it is, for anyone to install the device: Step 1: Start by mounting the unit onto the tractor. The best place to mount the device is behind the driver seat. Alternatively you could place it on the dashboard, on the crossbar, or on the roof. Make sure the unit is facing upwards before fastening it. The device could also be mounted under a fibreglass hood, close to the battery, permitted that there is no metal object above it – as metal will obstruct the signal. Step 2: Connect the power cable to the vehicle’s battery terminals. Switch on the engine and allow the tractor to idle for a few minutes. Your Farmtrack device should power up instantly and the lights will stabilize to show the device is connected, active, and ready to start tracking data in real time. When you switch off the engine, the device will automatically go into a sleep-mode, so there is no need for you to worry about battery life. Farmtrack will also save any data during signal loss and log it once connection is restored. Now you can walk away knowing that everything is working.
