In this mini-documentary, independent artist Cam Forrester explores the history of the Vox Continental - the first ever truly portable 'Combo' organ - taking a detailed look into its background, design & development, its unique sound, and widespread use in popular music throughout the 1960s and beyond. Also included are several performances using an original UK-built 1964 model - restored by Cam Forrester - recreating classic songs from the period which featured these organs originally. All music used in this video is performed entirely by Cam Forrester.
