PTS for patch 11 is out, so here's a quick true solo Decapitation run with the new heroic Instigator Bolt Carbine and Heavy Bolt Pistol (thoughts on the weapons in pinned comment). We're also revisiting a build that will be getting majorly buffed in patch 11: Power Axe executioner Vanguard. Relevant changes from the patch: Restless Fortitude now triggers when executing an enemy with the grapnel launcher so it now synergizes with the Zone of Impact + Tactical Prowess combo. Power Axe power stance now works with the block version (HUGE). Diving Kick's damage now scales with difficulty, so it does a little more when you end up getting janked out by body blocking/weird targeting. Overall I find the build much more enjoyable to play with the block Power Axe since it is much more functional as an actual melee weapon. Being able to trigger adrenaline surge charges off the power backstep feels great. The power backstep already has great stagger, but the AoE knockback from the block explosion plus the extra damage is very nice.
