LIVE high-definition (HD) livestream and broadcast of the Greek Orthodox Graveside Lamentations from Saint Mark in Boca Raton, Florida. Greek Orthodox Graveside Lamentation at the Tomb on Good Friday, the Epitaphios, mourns Jesus' death. The flower-adorned icon of Christ (Epitaphios) is placed in the Kouvouklion and is carried in a procession around the Church, reflecting on Jesus Christ's sacrifice and humanity's salvation. The Hymns of Lamentation are sung, and the Myrrh-bearing women throw rose petals into the Kouvouklion on top of the Epitafio, symbolizing the anointing of the Body of Jesus. When the Kouvouklion and Epitafio arrive back at the front of the Church, the Kouvouklion is raised, and the parishioners walk underneath the Epitafio, symbolizing their entering into death and the resurrection of Christ.
