Swalesi Basslet : Similar in appearance to the holy grail of Basslets, the Candy Basslet, this fish makes a beautiful addition to any saltwater aquarium especially a Nano Reef! The Liopropoma swalesi is an excellent reef-dwelling fish, and may only pose a small risk to smaller, ornamental shrimp. A 10 gallon aquarium with plenty of live rock is perfect for a single fish. As a carnivore, the Swales Basslet will thrive on a diet of meaty foods such as PE Mysis shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and frozen carnivore preparations. The Swalesi Basslet maxes out at 3 inches and requires at least a 10 gallon aquarium with a full hood to prevent jumping. This is a peaceful moderate care level reef-safe fish.
