In the frozen mountains of Yakutia, where temperatures plunge to -71°C (-96°F), an 80-year-old woman and her 90-year-old husband face the longest night of their lives. When a pack of starving wolves surrounds their cattle barn during a brutal blizzard, this elderly couple must defend their livestock—and their lives—until dawn. Armed with only an old rifle with limited ammunition, a wooden pitchfork, and burning wood, they fight off relentless wolf attacks throughout the night. With each passing hour, their strength fades, their firewood depletes, and the wolves grow more desperate.
