After this, in 2016, he played an important role in Sushant Singh Rajput's MS Dhoni, which was a big project of his career. Soon after this film, Sandeep Nahar got an opportunity to work in the film Kesari along with Akshay Kumar. Batde's Sandeep Nahar had also played an important role in films such as Khandani Shafakhana and Sperm. Apart from films, Sandeep also tried his luck on digital platforms.
