8 miles of the Los Angeles river in the San Fernando Valley

The Los Angeles river has many tributaries that contribute to it along it's way to the pacific ocean and eventually exiting in the Long Beach area. This part is located in the west end of the San Fernando Valley which serves to guide the excessive rain fall in a safe and controlled environment. Before these channels were built, the valley was acceptable to flooding during heavy rain falls and the need for controlling excessive amounts of water was a necessity in order to protect the communities. There are more washes to the west of my starting point and a main run that services the northwestern part of the valley but this is where they come together to start the Los Angeles river in the west end of the valley. This flight of 8.3 miles was done with a Mavic 2 Zoom in 5 segments. Each flown at 30 mph and sped up 4x in post giving the presentation of being in a helicopter at 150ft.
