Supporting people affected by the war in Lebanon

Since March 2, 2026, hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced across Lebanon as Israel continues to launch airstrikes and issue evacuation warnings to entire neighborhoods and regions across the country. Families have fled with little to nothing. Some have sought refuge in public schools, though the number of schools remains far too limited for the growing scale of displacement. Across the south, Beirut, and the north, MERATH partners have already been able to assist hundreds of displaced families with mattresses, blankets, winter clothing, milk, and other essential items. With more families fleeing their homes each day and winter cold remaining harsh, the needs continue to grow immensely, especially for shelter, food, mattresses, blankets, and warm clothing.
