Hiking in Norway, Europe. A solo hiking road trip to Norway, exploring its wild and pure nature. After researching dozens of blogs, vlogs and hiking apps, I selected these 6 hiking trails as the best mix for the diverse landscapes this Nordic country has to offer. The first 3 hikes are in the Southern or Central part of Norway, the remaining 3 hikes are located in the far North — within the Arctic Circle — on the Lofoten Islands and Senja. Hiking alone in Norway is one of the best hiking road trips I've done so far, and September is a very good month for it as the weather is still mild but the crowds of tourists already partly gone. I deliberately excluded the famous 3 rocks — Trolltunga, Kjerag and Preikestolen — from my list as they are have become too popular (maybe I'll do them in a separate trip sometime), so my list includes these a bit less known trails.
