Cambridge Campervans is a small family ­run business which prides itself on the quality of its conversions. Even for ‘rookie’ Campervan hirers we can provide you with comprehensive instructions and insider information to make the most of your trip. Take a look at our T7… Our Transporter vans have been converted by our highly trained and experienced converters and you will benefit from the following: Crash­ tested 112 Mobi-frame bed on rails Austops ‘scenic’ pop­top roof with hydraulic bed system Diesel night heater Fridge with small ice box 2 Burner Gas Hob Sink 35L fresh water tank – not suitable to drink Mains hook up Interior lighting Full tank of diesel (to be returned with a full tank) Gas bottle Pots, frying pan, cooking utensils, crockery, cups and cutlery for 4 people The Camper you will be hiring is newly converted (for 2026) Manual VW T7 110PS 6 Speed ‘Commerce Pro’ short wheel base and (for those without experience) very much like a car to drive. The ‘Commerce Pro’ T7 Transporter spec is the top spec available and features: Heated front seats, rear camera, LED headlights, front & rear parking sensors, wireless APP connect (giving access to your MAPS APP on your device) and adaptive cruise control to name just a few. The dimensions (metres) of the campervan are: Length: 5.05M, Width (including mirrors) 2.3M, Height (Clearance needed) 2.1M Every hire will include Comprehensive Insurance for the first driver (aged 25 – ­70) and RAC cover. The hire campervan has undergone full checks at every stage and has had a 12 month habitation check and certificate to ensure gas safety. Please make sure to turn the gas bottle off on the regulator before driving. We can provide secure, free parking for your own vehicle whilst you are away. Please note that Dogs/Pets are not permitted in our Campervans Pricing and Availability: The Campervan can be collected and returned any day between Monday and Saturday, we are not able to offer a pick up or drop off on Sundays or Bank Holidays, please take this into consideration when making your booking. Pick up is 2pm and return is by 10am. Collection is 12pm on Saturdays. Minimum hire period is 3 nights September – End June and 7 nights all of July & August.
