Time to experience....Rambo, seriously! When two comes, another one follows as more arcade light gun action continues with Sega's 2008 'First Blood' return with Rambo! Should've the Rage aspect a lot more and but more quicker on the Quick Time Events but that's for another time! (see the facts and Personal Thoughts below) Sega retouched the Rambo franchise since Rambo 3 on the Mega Drive/Genesis which actually got decent magazine reviews in the UK and Europe back then (and that's saying something from a Brit!!). However, the 2008 arcade game focuses on First Blood: Part 2 and Rambo 3 as most of the action scenes from the films are recreated along with some new additions here and there! However, this does have some non-shooting elements which if you don't shoot the target correctly, you do lose a life or worse...a credit! Along with that, Sega actually hired Hiroshi Fujioka who is known for his portrayal of the Saturn spokesperson 'Segata Sanshiro' for the promotion for Rambo in the arcades! Personal Thoughts: Asking for a console port is a lot especially with the fourth film being released which could've worked tenfold at the time but we got the 2014 game (not by Sega!) and it was panned by critics. However, i'll give StudioCanal their due for allowing Sega to produce the game with the license along with using the movie footage as well so that worked. Though the mechanics were similar to Ghost Squad, gameplay is straight to the point for a 'Rambo' game so fans can enjoy it! A hidden title lost in Sega's arcade archives (that's me!) but it's a blast nonetheless!
