Billy Ransome: Hey Paul! Things are moving! We have committed to a name (Help for Heroes), met with a non-profit attorney, and have a clear path to launch in the new year. First things first, I need to raise at least $15,000 to get this thing off the ground. Lawyer fees alone are just under $7000. Technically we only need $12,000 now because my grandma committed to the first $3000. Rob Dodge (another board member) is pitching the idea to his company to see if they can help at all with the formation process. Once I know how much I can raise from those options, I will try and figure out how to use our social media to raise some funds as well. If you know anyone that will even sit down with me to hear my pitch, send them my way. Tay and I do have a small savings that has been obliterated the last couple years, but will do whatever is necessary to get this mission off the ground. We believe God is calling us to this, and we will make this happen one way or another. Here is the checklist I have going right now of everything I need to get done before we launch.
