In this video, we install a set of eMMOTION lowering springs on a Volkswagen MK7. The steps used in this video can guide you through the install of our lowering springs on any MQB car. On vehicles such as the S3, the axle does not need to be disconnected. Tools required are: Wheel socket M14 triple square 18mm socket 18mm wrench Strut spreader M10 triple square 13mm socket/wrench 10mm socket T25 torx 21mm socket Spring compressor eMMOTION lowering springs are a linear design that is made to work well with the OEM dampers. We feel that this spring kit is the best option for those looking to lower their vehicle, while maintaining a nice ride quality. We did not create a generic spring based on the dimensions of the stock spring, but rather used our experience with the MQB platform to design a spring that offers a nice ride quality while creating an aesthetically pleasing stance.
