Watch our webinar on "Promising Research Horizons: The TCIH’s Contribution to Tackling AMR in Europe", where we examine the role of Traditional and Complementary Integrative Healthcare (TCIH) in addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) within the One Health framework. Key takeaways: TCIH as a solution to AMR: Highlights included TCIH's potential to reduce antibiotic overuse and promote preventive, holistic approaches to infection management. One Health approach: Speakers emphasised TCIH's role in fostering cross-sectoral collaboration between human, animal, and environmental health, contributing to sustainable AMR solutions. Global cooperation: Insights from international research projects underscored the need for worldwide collaboration in advancing TCIH research and application. Future research priorities: Calls for increased investment and stronger policies to integrate TCIH into AMR strategies. From innovative field trials to microbiome-focused strategies, the discussions showed how TCIH can lead to impactful, evidence-based interventions.
