The price for an aftermarket muffler for my 2001 Volvo V70 was out of my budget so I decided to fix it myself. I stick welded it using a little "Lunchbox-style" inverter welder running on 110 volts using 6013 rods which were all I had on hand, and it turned out quite well despite some scary welds!.
