After a full day working from home, sitting in front of three screens, I just needed to get out. This short evening loop around Kings Mills and Saint Saviour’s Reservoir turned into the perfect after work escape. No destination, no rush, just quiet Guernsey countryside roads, soft evening light, and the simple joy of being back on the bike. The ride takes us through Kings Mills, along Sunset Avenue, past Saint Saviour’s Reservoir and church, before winding through peaceful island lanes and returning back to Kings Mills. For this ride I slightly adjusted the camera position to show more of the riding perspective, including part of the cockpit and instruments, adding another dimension to the experience and making the ride feel more immersive.
