We were lucky enough to spend Christmas with the family in the fabulous Arlberg region of Austria, and earlier in Christmas week we were blessed by over 1m of new snow. The following 3 days of absolute "bluebird" conditions allowed some fabulous skiing for the family, culminating in a little explore of the sidecountry of Rendl - a small ski field detached from the main St Anton ski area which has repeatedly given us some very memorable days over recent years. The snow was fairly well tracked, but because the temperature had stayed low and the freeze-thaw cycle hadn't been allowed to start, it was still fluffy and there were some lovely patches of untracked powder in places. It felt so great to be back in this type of terrain, and whilst I'm very rusty and pushing the boundaries of what I'm currently capable of, I'm very grateful to Guy for his patience and knowledge of the area in keeping us safe and sharing another memorable morning! Shot with the new GoPro 13 Black with super wide angle lens - action camera usage is very new to me and I'm very much a novice! ‪@adventureswithsci‬
