As the weather gets warmer here in the northern hemisphere, it's time to get ready for beach and pool season. Here's a soundtrack to get you started. For the past several years I've curated a playlist of chill, sexy, laid-back deep house tracks on my Plex server called the Poolside Pleasure Playlist. It was originally inspired by the Bargrooves series of mixes by Seamless Recordings back in the early 2000s that just had that pool vibe, like, "Yeah, I'd enjoy having some drinks and lounging by the pool to this mix." This mix is a little slice of that feeling, featuring plenty of pianos, mellow grooves, and uplifting melodies. If it is popular, I'll do more throughout the summer season.
