Welcome to another video in my UAE Diving series. In this series I am trying to film as many of the UAE scuba diving sites both on the Gulf Coast (Arabian Gulf or the Persian Gulf) depending on your point of view) and the East Coast (the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean) On the Gulf Coast, the diving is mainly on wreck diving and some of the videos we post will show shipwrecks on YouTube for the first time, like this one. On the East Coast (Fujairah and Sharjah) the diving is more focused on coral reefs as the marine life tends to be varied due to cooler water temperatures, deeper water, and lower salinity compared to the Gulf Coast In this episode, we explore the Inchcape , one of the three Inchcape vessels sunk as artifical reefs in the waters off the coast of the Emirate of Fujairah. All three are decomissioned supply vessels and make a nice esay dive. The Inchcape 1 lies in 30m of water making it ideal for Deep Diver training. There are also resident seahorses but take care not to stress them see • Diving with Seahorses | Scuba Diving in F... To find the best dates to dive are to use the Hijri (Islamic) calendar as it follows the Lunar cycle. The weakest currents should be between the 7th to 11th and the 16 to 25th of the Hijiri month. Or just look at the tidal coefficient and make sure it less than 70 and dive 30 minutes before low or high water and you should be good. Visibility will be better and the current less on a rising tide. Make sure you have a delayed SMB in case the current pushes you off the wrecks.
